About this piece
Four drawers, a long open shelf, and contrasting wood details give this Shaker-inspired console table both character and everyday usefulness. Available in cherry or tiger maple with mahogany accents, its restrained lines let the natural grain and figure remain the focus.
The four dovetailed drawers offer a place for keys, correspondence, and smaller belongings. Below, an open shelf provides room for books or collected objects, while the broad top creates a surface for a lamp, pottery, or a welcoming arrangement.
At 50 inches wide and just 12 inches deep, the table works along a hallway, in an entryway, or behind a sofa without a deep footprint. Slender legs and an open base keep its presence light.
Built from solid hardwood with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and pegged connections, the table is finished with clear lacquer to protect and enhance the wood’s natural character.
