About this piece
Solid cherry, figured flame birch, and dark wenge accents give this foyer sideboard a distinctive balance of warmth and contrast. At 14 inches deep, it brings storage and display space to an entryway, dining room, or living area without a deep footprint.
Three dovetailed maple drawers with cedar-lined bottoms keep smaller belongings organized. Two side cabinets with interior shelving provide concealed storage, while the open lower shelf offers room for books, pottery, or baskets.
Flame birch shelving and inset panels highlight the wood’s natural movement, with wenge accents adding definition. Simple metal pulls complement the design, and a clear lacquer finish protects and enhances the natural color and grain.
Handcrafted one piece at a time by Thomas William Dumke in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
